Gait Buddy attaches the wheelchair directly to the walker, so the wheelchair follows behind the patient as they ambulate and is ready when the patient needs to sit.
It increases treatment options available to the therapist as they are no longer limited due to lack of equipment or extra personnel.
It promotes natural weight bearing and allows the staff member to intensely and repetitively work with patients on gait training without the risk of staff injury/fatigue.
